Terms of sale
These terms apply to every order placed on by2050.com.au. Placing an order means you accept them. They sit alongside the shipping, returns and privacy pages, which form part of these terms.
1. Who we are
by 2050 is a business name of Thirsti Pty Ltd (ACN 641 083 570, ABN 89 641 083 570), a company registered in Australia and based in Sydney, New South Wales. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Thirsti Pty Ltd trading as by 2050.

2. How an order becomes a contract
Adding a piece to your bag or starting checkout is not an order. Your order is placed when you submit payment on the Stripe checkout page, and we accept it when Stripe confirms that the payment has succeeded. At that point a contract for the pieces in that order is formed and you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Before printing starts we may cancel an order and refund it in full, for example if the printer has run out of a blank in your size or colour, if a price or product description was listed in error, or if we cannot deliver to the address given. We will tell you by email if this happens. Once printing has started an order cannot be cancelled, because the piece is made for you and cannot be sold to anyone else.
3. Prices and GST
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). The price shown at checkout, plus the shipping charge shown at checkout, is the total you pay. Thirsti Pty Ltd is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on any order and no tax invoice is issued. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to your order is the price shown when you paid.
Payment is taken by Stripe. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zip and Klarna are accepted where Stripe offers them at checkout. Zip and Klarna are credit products provided by those companies under their own terms.
4. Printed to order, and delivery
Every piece is printed after you order it, by a Printify partner printer: The Print Bar in Brisbane, Australia, or Shirt Monkey in Winsford, United Kingdom. The product page says which. Printing takes 2 to 7 business days before dispatch. Delivery then takes about 5 to 10 business days from Brisbane and 12 to 25 business days from the United Kingdom. These are estimates, not guarantees; we will tell you if an order is running well outside them.
We deliver within Australia only for now. Every order is tracked and we email the tracking number when the parcel is dispatched. If your order contains pieces from both printers it arrives as separate parcels. Risk in the goods passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave at checkout. Please check the address carefully; we cannot recover a parcel delivered to an address you entered incorrectly, though we will help you chase it with the carrier. 5. Returns and your consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In practice: if a piece arrives faulty, damaged, not as described, or not the size or design you ordered, email [email protected] with your order number and a photo. Where the problem is minor we will repair or replace the piece; where it is a major failure you choose between a full refund and a replacement. We pay the return postage on any faulty or incorrect piece. We ask that you contact us within 30 days of delivery so we can sort it quickly, but your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited to that period.
Because every piece is printed to order, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, including a wrong size chosen by you. This does not affect your consumer guarantees. The process is set out on the returns page.
6. Sizing
Both tees are unisex and sized by chest and body measurements. Measurements for each size are on the size guide, which is linked from every product page. If you are between sizes, email us before you order and we will help you choose.
7. Product imagery
Model photographs on product pages are generated with AI from a photograph of the real garment, and each product page says so. The garment, its colour and its label are real; the person wearing it is not. Colours are shown as accurately as screens allow, and a print may differ slightly in tone from what you see on screen. A slight difference in tone is not a fault.
8. Intellectual property
The by 2050 name, mark, designs, print artwork, photographs, text and the sustainability record on this site belong to Thirsti Pty Ltd or are used under licence. Buying a piece gives you the piece, not any right to reproduce the artwork or use the name. You may share images of the site and of your own pieces for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything not covered by those guarantees is limited to the price you paid for the order concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee for goods, it is limited to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or paying the cost of doing so, at our option.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The date at the foot of this page is the date of the current version.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the courts of New South Wales and the courts able to hear appeals from them. If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first; most things are sorted by email within a few days.
